Longest. Winter. Ever. The Michigan Winter Blues is for real! Who's with me?!
Truth! I'm working so hard to get fit and healthy to be a better role model and mom for my boys. Its. Real. Hard. . For so long, I put all of me on the back burner and dug myself into a hole that is really hard to get out of. There was a while where I wasn't sure if I ever would. . At the beginning of 2019, I made a decision to put myself first. I decided to put my oxygen mask on before helping others. And ya know what? It's working. I'm a better wife to my husband. I'm a much more patient mom to my boys. I don't feel like the walls are closing in on me despite the winter blues knocking at the door. . I'm choosing my hard. I'm choosing to show my boys how to make better food choices. I'm showing them that strength comes from within. . Choose YOUR hard!
Bring it on, -4 Michigan! I'm loving these snow days! Keep it up!
